Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, as our processor. To deliver a page and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical request data: your IP address, the page requested, date and time, browser and device type, and the referring page.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is delivering the site securely and reliably. Cloudflare may process data in the USA; it states that it complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Cloudflare's own policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Game results stored in your browser

When you play, the game saves your recent results (for example reaction times, puzzle times or levels) in your browser's local storage, so it can show your best and your history next time. This data stays on your device. It is never sent to us or anyone else.

Legal basis: storing this data is strictly necessary to provide the function you are using (§ 25(2) Nr. 2 TDDDG), and the processing rests on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can delete it at any time with the "Clear my results" button on each game page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

E-mail

If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To use them, e-mail us at the address above.

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Changes

If the site starts using new services, such as advertising, this policy will be updated before they go live, and the date at the top will change.
